The pricing model for Eyevinn Open Source Cloud is subscription based. A subscription depending on the plan grants you access to a number of active OSC services. An active OSC service is a service with one or more instances running.
- Each service instance uses 10–160 tokens per day, depending on the type of service.
- When you sign up and create a workspace, you immediately get 300 free tokens to try things out.
- If you upgrade to a paid plan, you get another 300 tokens right away.
- On paid plans, your workspace also receives a daily refill of tokens:
-
- Personal plan: 40 tokens per day
-
- Professional plan: 100 tokens per day
-
- Business plan: 400 tokens per day
- If you run out of tokens, you can’t start new service instances until more tokens are available.
You can activate and deactivate services within the plan as much as you like. For example you can be running Test Adserver-instances and FAST Channel Engine-instances and you can choose to replace the Test Adserver-instances with Chaos Proxy-instances instead.
What is included?
We have four self-service subscription plans from 0 EUR per month to 199 EUR per month. On these plans your instances are running on a shared infrastructure. Plans differ in both daily token allowance and the features available. All plans include 300 usage tokens at signup for free.
For the need of reserved and dedicated compute nodes we have the Enterprise plan where we tailor a solution that fits your need.

Basic plan
The Basic plan is free with no time limit. You get 100 tokens (one-time) to explore the full catalog of 180+ open source services. No credit card required.
The Basic plan does not include custom domains, database backups, or the IMAP/SMTP mail server. These features are available on paid plans.
Personal plan
The Personal plan costs 15 EUR per month. With this plan you get 40 usage tokens added each day, plus scheduled AI agent tasks and database backups for your running service instances.
When you create a new workspace, you can opt in to a 14-day free trial of the Personal plan. During sign-up you will see a "Start with Personal plan (14-day free trial)" option. If you select it, you are redirected to Stripe to enter your payment details. No charge is made until the trial ends, and you can cancel at any time.
This plan is sufficient for personal projects. You can for example launch a Wordpress blog with an SQL database, create virtual channels with a Web Runner service, and keep your databases backed up automatically.
Custom domains (BYOD) require the Professional plan or higher.
Professional plan
The Professional plan costs 69 EUR per month. With this plan you get 100 usage tokens added each day.
This plan adds custom domains (bring your own domain), IMAP/SMTP mail server access, the ability to connect your own applications with OSC services, scheduled AI agent tasks, and database backups. It includes a 14-day free trial.
This is the entry-level plan for professional use cases such as a VOD processing pipeline including transcoding, packaging and storage, or hosting services with your own custom domain names.
Business plan
The Business plan costs 199 EUR per month. With this plan you get 400 usage tokens added each day. All features are included: custom domains (BYOD), IMAP/SMTP mail server, connect apps, and database backups.
This plan enables you to build larger solutions consisting of many open source services — for example a VOD processing pipeline combined with a virtual channel playout platform where the streams are continuously being monitored with the stream monitor service.
Enterprise plan
All self-service plans run instances on shared resources. If you wish to have reserved processing nodes contact us at osc@eyevinn.se and we will provide you with a quote for the Enterprise plan that is tailored to your needs.
Estimating Token Costs
To estimate how many tokens different services consume and plan your usage, use the Token Cost Calculator on the pricing page.
You can also access the calculator directly from the Workspace Settings → Usage page in the OSC dashboard — look for the "Estimate token costs per service" link below the Upgrade plan button.
Usage Breakdown
The Workspace Settings → Usage page shows a detailed breakdown of your token consumption by service. For each active service, you can see how many instances are running and the daily token cost. The page also displays:
- Consumption trend — whether your token usage is increasing, stable, or decreasing compared to the previous period.
- Days until zero — an estimate of how many days your current token balance will last at your current usage rate, factoring in your daily refill.
Use this information to identify which services consume the most tokens and plan your capacity accordingly.
Low Token Warning
The OSC dashboard displays a warning banner at the top when your token balance is projected to run out soon:
- Yellow warning — tokens projected to run out within 14 days
- Red danger banner — tokens projected to run out within 7 days
The banner takes into account your current token balance, your daily usage rate, and your daily token refill. You can dismiss it for the current session by clicking the ✕ button. It will reappear in new sessions until you upgrade your plan or your token situation improves.
To address a low token balance, click Upgrade Plan in the banner or navigate to Workspace Settings → Pricing. If you are on Stripe billing, the banner also shows a Buy Token Pack link to purchase a one-time top-up without changing your subscription.
Token Packs
If you need extra tokens without changing your subscription plan, you can purchase a one-time token pack. Token packs are available for workspaces on Stripe billing and can be bought from Workspace Settings → Usage.
| Pack | Tokens | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 100 tokens | €9.90 |
| Builder | 300 tokens | €25.00 |
Token packs are a one-time purchase (not a recurring subscription) and expire after 12 months. Active token packs are listed in the Budget Summary card on the Usage page, each showing its expiry date.
Tip: If you run services regularly, a Personal subscription (40 tokens/day for €15/month) is more cost-effective than repeatedly buying token packs.
AI Chat Usage Limits
The built-in AI assistant (available in My Apps and the dashboard) has a monthly message limit that varies by plan:
| Plan | Messages per Month |
|---|---|
| Free | 10 |
| Personal | 50 |
| Professional | 200 |
| Business | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
The AI Chat Usage widget on your dashboard home shows how many messages you have used this month, how many remain, and when the counter resets. The progress bar turns yellow when you are approaching the limit (80% used) and red when you have reached it.
When the monthly limit is reached, the AI assistant returns a "Monthly AI chat limit reached" error. To continue using AI chat, upgrade your plan from the billing page.
Invoice Bill History
Enterprise accounts on invoice billing can view a full history of past billing periods from Workspace Settings → Billing → Bills.
The Bills table shows one row per billing period and includes:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Period | Start and end date of the billing period |
| Plan | Service(s) billed during the period (hover for line-item breakdown) |
| Items | Number of line items on the bill |
| Total | Total amount due for the period |
| Status | OPEN (current period), INVOICED (invoice sent), PAID (payment received), or CLOSED |
To request a formal invoice copy, contact billing@eyevinn.se.
Downgrading Your Plan
When you downgrade from a paid plan to Free on a Stripe-billed workspace, your paid subscription is scheduled to end at the close of the current billing period. You continue to receive your daily token refill and all plan benefits until the period ends. After that, the plan switches to Free automatically.
If you have running service instances when you initiate the downgrade, a confirmation dialog appears before the downgrade is submitted. The dialog lists all your currently running instances and explains that the Free plan has no daily token refill, meaning those instances will eventually be suspended once your token balance runs out, and any data that has not been backed up will be lost. You must check a confirmation checkbox before the downgrade button becomes active. If you have no running instances, the downgrade proceeds without this extra step.
Cancelling a Scheduled Downgrade
If you change your mind after submitting a downgrade request, you can cancel it before the billing period ends. Open Workspace Settings → Pricing — if a scheduled downgrade is pending, a notice appears showing the effective date and a Cancel scheduled downgrade button. Clicking the button cancels the schedule and keeps your current plan active. No prorated charges or credits are applied; your next renewal date remains unchanged.
