Getting Started
Anomaly Detector is an open-source video surveillance service that uses computer vision to detect anomalies in real time. It processes video feeds and surfaces unusual activity while reducing false alarms through intelligent filtering.
Prerequisites
- If you have not already done so, sign up for an Eyevinn OSC account
Step 1: Create an Anomaly Detector instance
Navigate to the Anomaly Detector service page and click Create anomalydetector. Fill in:
- Name: a unique name for your instance (alphanumeric only, e.g.
mysurveillance)
Click Create and wait for the status indicator to turn green.
Step 2: Open the dashboard
Click the instance URL to open the Anomaly Detector interface. From here you can connect your video sources and review flagged events.
